On 4 April, the Cantonal Startup Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the LAC, Lugano Arte e Cultura. The event is organised by the Dipartimento dell'Economia e della Finanza and Fondazione AGIRE, in collaboration with Impact Hub Ticino and USI Startup Center, and with the support of BancaStato.
Innovation, creativity, dynamism, and a view of the world and the future: are some of the characteristics of start-ups. These young companies represent an excellent opportunity for development in the Ticino economy. A type of entrepreneurship with special needs, including seeking investment to launch its products or services on the international market.
The Cantonal Startup Day aims to strengthen networking between Ticino start-ups and potential investors. The latter will have the opportunity to get closer to the world of start-ups thanks to various in-depth events. Opportunities to meet and exchange ideas will also be facilitated in the exhibition area, where some twenty start-ups will be present with their stands.
Impact Hub Ticino will participate in a panel discussion on 'Investing in impact companies: preserving the mission while guaranteeing adequate returns' moderated by Angelica Morrone, Asset manager, Angel Investor and member of Impact Hub Ticino. Speakers will include:

Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, Vegan Investor, entrepreneur, advisor and activist
