Una rete di investitori per l’imprenditorialità sostenibile

Impact for Breakfast (IFB) is an informal network of investors, family offices, foundations, funds, venture philanthropy and organizations with a shared interest in sustainable entrepreneurship and impact investing. IFB members seek to learn from each other and collaborate more effectively to increase their individual and joint impact. Launched in London in 2008, IFB has grown into a global network of more than 2,300 people covering 14 cities including Geneva, New York and San Francisco.

The Lugano Chapter of Impact for Breakfast was founded by Carlotta Zarattini and Tommaso Tabet, also co-founders of Impact Hub Ticino. The first event was held in November 2021 with impact vegan investor Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni as a guest.

Meetings, limited to a maximum of about 20 participants, are usually held in the morning, from 9 to 11 a.m. A typical meeting begins with coffee and a complimentary breakfast, followed by a chat with the invited guest speaker and a larger discussion with attendees. Speakers share their experiences, and tell their stories without pitch or powerpoint.

The goal of the Ticinese group is to raise awareness on impact issues and to connect people and organizations working on the territory.

The meetings are free and supported by Impact Hub Ticino and Copernicus Group.

To stay updated on the next meetings, you need to subscribe on the official page of the Lugano Chapter. You can also sign up for other Chapters around the world.
