Meeting series: Food production, distribution and consumption: what models for a sustainable future?
Stefano Liberti, journalist and film-maker, has been publishing for years reportages on international politics on Italian and foreign newspapers. As a director, he has worked for Rai 3 and directed several documentaries, including the award-winning Soyalism (2018, with Enrico Parenti). In 2009 he won the Indro Montanelli Prize with the book “A sud di Lampedusa” (minimum fax, 2008). “Land Grabbing” (minimum fax, 2011) has been translated in ten countries. In 2016 he published “The Lords of Food. Viaggio nell’industria alimentare che sta distruggendo il pianeta” (minimum fax). “The Big Cart” (Laterza), an investigation into the agri-food chain written with Fabio Ciconte, was released in 2019.
Manuela Pagani Larghi, economist committed daily to a humanist economy. In her first life she was a financial consultant, in her second life she is a conselor, passionate about new forms of economy, new business models and organization. She is in love with and firm believer in Theory U, a theory of social change that proposes new forms of learning based not only on the past but also on the emerging future. Micro-entrepreneur, co-founder of Impact Hub Ticino, founder of Ulab Hub Ticino, since 2021 she has been carrying on with courage and audacity, with a special travelling companion and with the precious support of a network of social innovators, a dreamlike concrete project of Generative Interdependence Agreements.
