Circular Economy Incubator 2021

Support program for early-stage startups

Swiss-wide Call for early-stage Startups in the Circular Economy

The Swiss-wide initiative Circular Economy Transition has opened the call for projects for its third edition of the Circular Economy Incubator. For the three-month hybrid incubation program from October 2021 to January 2022, Circular Economy Transition is looking for 30 early-stage projects from all over Switzerland with circular business models – i.e. solutions based on circular activities such as resale, reuse, repair and refurbishment.

During the 12-weeks incubation program in autumn 2021, the selected entrepreneurs will work on validating their business model and developing their minimum viable product (MVP). The program supports them through individual mentoring sessions with experienced coaches, a virtual “Lunch & Learn” and peer exchange format, and access to the Swiss circular startup ecosystem and a pool of experts in the circular economy.

Deadline

19 September 2021

In addition to the weekly online sessions, the offline elements of the program, such as pitching events or networking in coworking spaces, take place on-site at the Impact Hubs in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Ticino and Zurich.

The application deadline for this third edition of the CE Incubator is September 19, 2021. Interested early-stage startups with a circular business model can apply here. Everyone interested in the program is invited to join the information event on September 3rd.

The CET Incubator program is facilitated by Impact Hub Switzerland, who together with sanu durabilitas is running the Circular Economy Transition. Apart from the Incubator program, Circular Economy Transition organizes monthly community events on the topic of Circular Economy and operates the Business Lab, a platform for corporates and SMEs that supports them in identifying circular business potential, optimizing their value chains and prototyping new solutions and products.
